the Simple beauty of Vintage

There's something about a vintage piece that can draw you in. The simple beauty of its style. This chair caught my eye, found in one of the many Facebook furniture groups I follow and only $25. Since I had already found an amazing gal who reupholsters, Courtney's Interiors, and after viewing her work, I knew she could bring it back to life for me. I didn't want to invest a lot of money in fabric so I picked a simple script fabric from hobby lobby, and with the 40% off cost me $40. To save a few dollars I also removed all the old fabric for Courtney, hey every little bit helps when your trying to keep the cost down. She selected a paint color that was a soft gray that looked well with the fabric selection, and then gave it a vintage look with a dark wax finish. Courtney did an amazing job! I highly recommend her. What I love most is saving a great piece of furniture and giving it a new home in my guest room.
